Donate to the BackGames.org project

To encourage widespread use and make this site readily available to the global backgammon community, we are providing the database system as "shareware" which means the funding needed to keep this project alive will come from donations to BackGames.org.

We prefer to keep it that way! You can help...

Development and maintenance of the site resources are a huge investment in programming time, not to mention the ongoing expense of server and database access. We are appealing on the generosity of the backgammon community to help offset these costs. Any size donations will be most welcome.

If you are a club director using the database and find it to be a valuable resource, take up a collection among your local players and forward it to us.

If you are a player who just cashed big in a major event, you might want to consider contributing a small portion of your good fortune to this effort. If nothing else, it will help ensure that your high rating will always be readily visible online for the rest of the backgammon world to envy!

If you are any other member of the backgammon community who recognizes the value of a common database resource shared by club directors around the world, please feel free to contribute to this project.
