OK,
you've started a club player list and created a new tournament
with at least one event and bracket. Now let's add some players
to the bracket. Below the empty bracket
list is a checkbox list of all active club players:

The "Using" menu
selects which players to include in the checklist. When your
player
list is small, choose Active Club Players or All
Club Players.
When your player list gets very large, you'll appreciate
being able to select bracket players
by skill level, location, etc.
It's best to have
the bracket list follow the exact order of your
tournament drawsheet (especially in an elimination bracket).
Clicking the player checkboxes in the same order as they
appear on the
drawsheet
will give
you
the
proper bracket player list. When the names are checked, click
the Add Checked Names button. Now you have a bracket
list with player names filled in and ready to enter
the match results:

At this point, names
can be deleted from the list, or additional players added to
the end of the list. If there's an extra player in the middle
of the list, just delete and the rest of the list will move
up. If a player is missing from the middle of the list, you
can delete up to that spot, and then add the remaining players
in the proper order. Or just add the missing name to
the end of the list (which might make entering match results
a little less convenient).
Note: Once match
results are recorded for a player you cannot delete that
player from the bracket
list.
Adding a player not in your club list...
If there's a player
on the drawsheet who's not in your club list, you can add
him from the bracket list page with the add one player form
at the bottom of the page:
Type the player
name and click Submit. The procedure is the same as
adding players in the Player List Manager. The new player will
be added to both your club player list and end of the current
bracket list.
